Government Proposes to Redistribute Financial Allocations Planned by RA State Budget for 2022

Taking into consideration the necessity of the redistributions of the financial allocations planned by the RA State Budget for 2022, the Government proposes to make the 3% limit established by law 5%. At December 9 NA extraordinary sitting, presenting the draft law on Making Addendum to the law on the RA State Budget for 2022 the RA Deputy Minister of Finance Vahe Hovhannisyan said about this.

During this year, by the RA State Budget for 2022 about 140bln AMD were redistributed, according to which, the exceptions of the redistributions were more than 77bln AMD, accordingly 1.6bln AMD and 9bln AMD were directed to the expenditures of the pandemic and of military significance, and 0.6bln AMD – on business trips and receptions of the delegations. As a result, the redistributions after the exceptions were more than 62bln AMD, reaching the threshold of 3% redistributions established by law.

According to Vahe Hovhannisyan, also additional redistributions were made in the defense, social, agricultural, cultural and other spheres, as well as also 5bln AMD was allocated for the organization of the Junior Eurovision.

Presenting the endorsement of the NA Standing (Head) Committee on Financial-Credit and Budgetary Affairs Narek Grigoryan called on his colleagues to vote for it.

The parliament passed the bill in the first reading.
